Automotive Vehicle Photographer – Job Overview

As an Automotive Inventory Photographer with VINSHOTS of Tennessee, you’ll be on the front lines of how our dealer partners present their vehicles online. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and has an eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

As an Automotive Inventory Photographer, you will:

  • Stage and capture photos and videos of vehicles on dealership lots
  • Upload and organize media to accurately showcase inventory online
  • Record important vehicle details such as options, mileage, and color
  • Communicate with dealership management about units that are not ready to be photographed
  • Track and document which vehicles are ready for retail and which have been completed
  • Maintain and properly care for assigned photography and video equipment


Qualifications & Requirements

We’re looking for candidates who are:

  • Experienced in auto dealerships (helpful but not required)
  • Familiar with photography or videography (a plus, but we’ll train the right person)
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable dealing with dealership staff and customers
  • Able to provide dependable, personal transportation
  • Flexible with scheduling (this is not a standard 9–5 office role)
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
